The Parochial Church Council (PCC) takes seriously its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults who may be at risk of harm.
We will ensure that anyone who brings any safeguarding suspicion, concern, knowledge or allegation of current or non-current abuse to the notice of the Parish will be responded to respectfully and in a timely manner, in line with legislation, statutory and national safeguarding policy and procedures.
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) reviewed its Safeguarding Policy on 17th June 2025.
The Parish uses the Church of England’s House of Bishops’ Safeguarding Policy and Practice Guidance to annually monitor safeguarding practice. This includes the Church of England Safeguarding Handbook.
